Is is necessary to change NIC if..
 

Im using an external cricket modem (USB) for internet access. Therefore not using my NIC to receive net connection. Does amazon still track the MAC of the NIC?

I did the same thing but what I did as a precaution is disable all Network Adaptors through Device Manager.

I then made a new windows user account and successfully made an Amazon stealth account!

Hi Im using a usb dial up modem. I cant open another account on amazon. Ive tryed and no good everytime....

Although On my other laptop I plug in my local area connection to my cable. and as all I do is change my mac address then follow stealth ways and I can open and have a good standing account for some time.

I would like to have a back up on the other laptop with the dial up....?????

Should I go and disable My NIC..... then change the mac as I do with the other computer. Is that what Im doing wrong??????

If your not using your NIC for a net connection, just pull it out all together.

USB for internet access is fine & you should not need to do anything else.

So thats how there tracking to me ?? I should get rid of the NIC???

I'm using my blackberry as dialup and have been able to open several amazon accounts without even touching the nic or mac.
