Amazombie | 03-13-2010 02:33 PM | amazon Tip #8 - IP Address Your ip address should be unique from your previously banned ip & your new ip should be geographically close to your stealth address.
Proxies & VPN's generally do not work so be careful when choosing your ip address. |
topadog | 03-17-2010 05:17 AM | Hi
i created amazon account from Pakistan no ip change, no Vpns used, the only thing i did, made a new user account and changed my mac address, selected a totally different product and changed my browser, Thanks to you and ebaykilla and several others here for the informations...
Thanks! |
SelfMade17 | 05-08-2010 08:11 AM | why wouldnt VPNs work? |
First Edition | 05-08-2010 08:50 AM | They can see through them, or they can tell it's a vpn.... and most legit business people don't use a proxie or vpn |
POSHY | 05-08-2010 01:43 PM | How did you manage to open an account from Pakistan? Do you have friends there? |

Is it true that amazon can really detect an VPN even through the vpn network/connection is suppose to be encrypted? |
First Edition | 05-27-2010 11:30 AM | YES, it is true. The vpn encryption is so that no one can intercept the transmission.... I believe. |
Vicvelcro | 06-01-2010 12:45 PM | Definitely true. Even though the data is encrypted and can't allegedly be intercepted and decyphered... The IP address is going to fall within a limited range. Amazon and others know which IP ranges are VPN or Proxy. Those are blacklisted. The bots catch on eventually. Quote:

POSHY | 06-01-2010 01:51 PM | Does Amazon take note of the recipient address when you buy something, for example I bought something for my sister 3 years ago using my UNSTEALTH Amazon "Buyer account" which is not the same as my seller account (which got suspended) and its my card and my address in TX but the item was a gift for my sister in CA and I had it sent there???
I am planning to use my sister's address as stealth and Im not sure if it will be traced back to me. |
ruexbluesummer | 06-02-2010 12:47 PM | what happens if you use places like kinkos/the library/the starbucks?
does that help with the IP address problem? |
git-joe | 06-16-2010 01:13 PM | Hello, I'm new to this forum.I would like to open up a new amazon account and trying to figure out how.
I remember reading somewhere that you dont need to change the IP address just the mac ID, does anyone know if thats true and how to go about doing that.
Thanks |

Get the Amazon Ghost book. Invaluable to getting on, and staying on. Will show you how to change your MAC, and MORE! |
adam34996 | 11-08-2010 04:33 PM | MAC address is pretty simple to change on some routers. Your default IP should be 10.0.0.1 if my google search was correct.
I have a Netgear wireless router and it is very simple.
Get youtube for "MAC Address change" and you can see how its done. If your router does not enable you to change it, get one that does. |
alternate | 11-09-2010 09:18 PM | One not so quick question... If I use a previously suspended wireless laptop with a clean new user profile and get online through my blackberry set up as a modem , do I still need to worry about NIC or MAC/IP address changes? I know that my IP address is different now from all my previously suspended accounts. The modem (my blackberry) is different also, I'm using a newly created user profile with different desktop icons and programs on that laptop. This laptop was used on amazon only wirelessly through my main PC (which is also linked with my suspended account). Please lemme know if I'm forgetting to check something... |
