Any chance to win this A-Z claim ?

I shipped the item to the buyer and the UPS status shows it has been delivered but it was signed by another person, not the buyer. Now the buyer filed an A-Z claim against me. I guess either the item was stolen or the buyer is simply deceiving. How many chances do I stand here? I heard amazon a-z claim is super friendly to buyers....also recently my amazon account is being reviewed and the fund is held up to 30days. Will this hurt the chance of my account being restored?

if u can contest the claim without revealing ur non stealth identity go ahead otherwise do not bother. That claim won't help your acct. so move on and create another stealth acct. just in case.

It's difficult to win A to Z claims. I've had maybe 3 or 4 over the life of my account. One was refunded by Amazon because my clear defense made it obvious that Amazon's ambiguous product description was to blame. Make your case, providing tracking information and clearly outlining everything. You have nothing to lose, and one A to Z claim against you won't destroy your account.

If you enjoy selling on Amazon, I suggest cutting your losses and refunding the money.

yep...don't fight a losing battle because u have to stay off amazon's radar at any cost.

Long ago, I got into an email argument with an AtoZ customer & pissed them off then they raised a big stink with Amazon which got my real acct. suspend and now here I am stealthing ever since:(

Absolutely agree. If you are dealing with a reasonable customer, you might try to defend yourself.

However, reasonable customers don't usually file A to Z claims in the first place. A quick refund may save you negative feedback, which has a whole new set of problems that go with it. If you plan on keeping this account a while, preventing negative feedback is more important than saving a single sale (you are likely to lose the A to Z anyway)

I actually win this claim. According to Amazon, if the package is signed by someone, buyer has to follow up with that person. hoooray!

Did UPS deliver the package to the right address? PayPal would decide the same as Amazon.com; however, not the credit card company if buyer ever files a chargeback.

Does A-Z guaranty also protect the seller? PayPal's guaranty would, and they would eat the cost of chargeback.
