Amazon Requires Bank Account to sale now?

I created a new Amazon tonight, and listed a few items for sale. I got the submit your listing, and your item has been listed, etc, etc.

Received the email my items were listed.

After checking Amazon a few minutes later, they were not showing under the category I listed them under.

So I log back into my Amazon account, and see that I have an account review I have never seen before.

I go into my account messages, and they require you to enter a bank account to sell now.

Anyone else as of today made an account and seen this.

Update:

Found a way around it, PM if you need the work around.

haha I've reached my daily PM limit. I will get back to you guys tomorrow, when my limit resets. :thumb:

I have never seen this one before has anyone else?

Anyone get the same problem? I am going to create a new Amazon account but haven't prepared a bank account yet.

catdaddy 04-17-2010 07:17 AM

I am similarly curious if anyone has attempted making an account recently and been required to immediately enter bank account information. This would certainly change the game.

I made new accounts on the 14th & the 15th.
This was NOT a requirement then.

I will make another new one today and see what happens.....

Made 2 additional accounts today.

One automatically wanted a bank account before my item would display for sale.

The second account, it went like normal.

They are probably testing it out, but be sure its coming for all accounts soon.

for you guys that don't add bank accounts/use giftcards, how do you eventually get paid?

You only add a bank account if you ready to disburse.

So as long as you have a nice amount in there, and your out of a review, and eligble for disburse is the only time I add a bank account.

The other way I get it out is, I have an all legit account I only sell on once or twice a month. I just list an item for sell on it for however much I have in my stealth and buy it from myself and transfer the money to the bank on my legit account.

Amazon requiring bank account

I opened 5 stealth accounts about 3 weeks ago, for some reason, one of the accounts required a bank account before I could sell, it could be random, or maybe I fell it to a high risk category ( i used a ip proxy server), I added a bank account ( a phony one), my account was allowed to sell, but I was suspended within a day. Or maybe they are planning on doing this to all accounts eventually, anybody else open accounts in the last few days and find this requirement?

Bank Account

hey,

i opened 4 account over the weekend, and non had that limitation with the bank account.

So i think u should not use a Proxy, thats too risky for amazon and they know u hide something.

Use dialup, its very slow bad safer!

Build trust, to use a proxy in the beginning is the wrong way.

When they ask u to type in a bank account, u know something is wrong, i would not burn a bank account before (or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bank account) i have money on my seller account.

dialup would work on one account but once that gets banned i would need another dialup company?

quick question, why do you guys open so many accounts at once? I tend to open one and then wait till that one is banned and then open another.

dennisjaneway 06-08-2010 08:32 AM

it can happen every minute that a bad customer send u a bad feedback, or that amazon put u in a review.

So then u will have a big problem, 30 days no income? or with the bad feedback u have to wait 14 days before u have money in your account?

The more accounts u have the more income and the risk is low.

Its not good to make 500 $ a week with one account
But its better to make 5x100 $ a week with 5 accounts.

So its all about risk!

vix 06-08-2010 09:58 AM

well the system i been going by now is sell for a month make alot of money and get banned make another account and do the same. 90 days wait for money and since i have others banned every month i get paid by one basically every month

dennisjaneway 06-08-2010 10:20 AM

when u have the money/credit to do that its ok.

i dont have any credit and i need the money immediatly to pay my bills
