Family Suspended ??
 

Hi,

My brother opened an amazon account, admittedly so I could use it, but this account was immediately suspended, even though he has a different home address, name, CC, E-Mail, Phone Number, IP Address, etc, etc.

Does this mean that no one with my surname can use Amazon, as this is the only thing we have in common, in regards to an Amazon Account.

What if your surname is Smith!!

I do not think so, they must have linked you some other kind of way, did he set up the account from a computer that you might have used to log into the suspended account?

I Know that Amazon is now using something called "Browser Fingerprinting"

If it was a same computer, then they linked you this way. You have to change your comp name plus delete cookies all the time. Also maybe your "new" address or ip or blah blah blah was already banned a long time ago.

Is your brother's CC using the same billing address associated with your suspended account?

Believe it or Not with Amazon it is a Little more Complicated than that, you "Mask" or change you CPU ID and Device tree.
