How fast do I list on Amazon

I have completely read the book several times and am ready to jump back on Amazon. I think this question has been covered before but I just want to make sure. How fast can I list things? 2-3 a day? Until when? After 30 days can I just go nuts? Thanks.

Every new account has a $750 limit for the first 30 days after it is registered. Don't go over that limit or your account goes bye bye. As long as you aren't selling really expensive items and you spread your sells out. If you are selling something for $50, then sell one every other day so you'll keep your total sales under $750.

After 30 days, you cant go nuts. You still have to slowly increase your sales. After the 30 days, you can make a jump to about $1000 every month. My general rule is to increase sales by about $200 every month. And for every other feedback, I'll increase by another $100.

Is it the amount you sell or the number of listings that get you targeted? In other words can I list 20 things a day if I still stay under the $750 a month?

It's the dollar amount.

The more feedback you get, the more you can generally sell. The first 30 days, take it slow, and just work on building up the feedback, then slowly increase things.

Only time 'nuts' goes with Amazon, is when they are growing on trees near the Amazon river.:boink:

Forget 'fast'. Amazon is a boring, respectable company, that likes slow selling & sellers that do not rock the boat. Go slowly as the others recommended. Then you can have a sound Amazon account. That should be your aim. Not losing accounts, making more, losing accounts making more..... sound like a broken record;)

Thanks, I agree Green Bean.

I don't get it, if you have an account that is not linked to any other dirty accounts what is the problem of listing a few items, sell let say $1000 dollars in a week, this will put your account into review and your funds in reserve. However this review will eventually be lifted but it doesn't mean you will lose your account.

Sometimes they will suspend you for a couple of weeks or maybe even 30 Days but then they will let you have the account back. Ride the storm for 2 months and thing will get better.

Correct me if I am wrong but selling and listing a lot will only mean your account will go into review and suspension quicker. As long as you are not linked you will not lose the account forever?

I am planing to new account and I will list around 7000 books. How many books, I should list within 30days. Many of books are 1 cent.

Correct, but if you have no feedback during this period your chances of being blocked are very high.. that's why it's a good idea to take things slow, build up feedback and then increase sales.

Feedback is EVERYTHING to Amazon.

The crazy thing is the idiots that work on amazon should have a system in place where buyers are more aware of leaving feedback. Out of 100 sales maybe 5% leaves feedback and that is after begging them :(
