What do I do with my amazon seller account?

I've had a seller account for 6 months to a year, not sure. It's all set up using legitimate information.

However, I sell car parts. They don't let me sell car parts on Amazon. I applied, but was denied.

So what do I do with the account? Partner with someone who has had amazon issues, or just close the account.

I was thinking of selling a couple of household items or DVDS for 1 penny, just to get SOME feedback, in case I ever want to use it for the future.

I would leave well enough alone. Why would you risk partnering up with someone that could endanger your reputation, and ruin a good account, thus, if anything negative happens with that account, you would never again be able to legitimately sell your wares on Amazon again.

Let sleeping dogs lie, or just close the account.

good day!

I have to agree. You may not know what to sell right now, but 3 months, 6 months or 6 years from now you might find a great product that will sell like hotcakes on Amazon. Why take a chance on ruining your account for a few dollars?

Why not try craigslist or free boards that are set up for certain car makers?

BTW, if you're clever you can put items on many different cities craigslist simultaneously

I need to learn more about what people sell on Amazon. In the meantime, I need to sell "something", just to get it's feet wet.

You can try to get approve again later. They denied me twice and the 3rd time they finally approve me.
