Amazon Pro Merchant - EAN codes

Ok I have signed up to a Amazon Pro merchant account, and I want to list some items that are not in the catalogue. To do this I need to enter a EAN number, which is a European Article Number, which is below the barcode apparently.

The problem is i'm dropshipping retail and don't have the items to hand. Is there any way of finding these easily. I thought about finding the items on Ebay and act like a prospective customer and ask them, but that's a pain.

I searched google and purchase about 10 of these when I couldnt find the items I was selling on amazon. Worked great not as cheap as I hoped though.
