Amazon - Billing Address

Creating a new Amazon stealth account. Just wondering, it's asking for my card details and an address. I'm going to use a fresh bank card for the account, but what billing address shall I use, won't the stealth address be refused by Amazon as it doesn't match the address my card is registered too?

Zip code of card must match for authorization purposes.

Ok does that mean I have to use an address that's in my own street for an Amazon account stealth then?. I am actually trying to register on an overseas Amazon site after being suspended my them.

You can use a different version of your address or add some bogus A/B info to the address. I would opt for changing the address of the card - if you can.

Ok instead of 12 High Street, Anytown I could use Swiss Cottage, High Street, Anytown?

What do you mean by A/B info?

I believe you would need the numbered digits, and the postal code of the address you used to attain the credit/debit card for the card to be verified by Amazon. The street name does not matter.

Any others want to chime in?????

Hmmm well the street would then need to be very close to mine for the postcode to match

123 West St. becomes 123-A St. West

Just wanted to bring this thread up again because i'm confused about one thing.

If it is best to change the address on my card, then I would have to use a prepaid card as changing bank address is obviously not possible. But even prepaid cards you would need to get posted to your address, whcih is a problem if your address is bogus.

So that leaves VCC, which VCC allow you to change your address?

There are people on the forum who sell them, they are cheap. Especially for Amazon. Seems they are having a price war right now.

Yep I saw that $10 is the going rate, deal.
