Can i withdraw money into a bank account in a different name??
 

I am in the UK btw.

Hi, just got a stealth account up and running only had it for about 10 days but ive sold 3 things got 1 feedback and it hasnt been blocked.... however i will have to add my bank account before i can get any of my money.

If i add a bank account, put the correct sort code and account number, but my bank account is in a totally different name to the one on amazon....

Will the money make it into my bank account???

The bank i was going to use is with halifax and an online saver account??

If not does anyone know of a way to get an online bank account in the uk thats cheap and safe in a different name...

Lots of banks will accept transfers under different names - make sure halifax does the same. You will be fine.

Hello. Luckily for us Amazon and Paypal don't check the names on the bank account. I have a couple of Amazon accounts all with stealth info. Never ran into a problem.

That CANNOT check the names on the bank account. There is a difference.

The banks that work with paypal, will work with Amazon for the same reasons...

it is up to the bank, not paypal or amazon, to accept the incoming deposit
