Sales down anyone?
 

Lots of inventory stacking up the past couple of weeks. Anyone else experiencing a slow down?

Also, I have never sold on amazon during the holidays. Does it pick up big time?

all sales pick up during the last quarter, in almost every market :)

This was the slowest summer I ever had. But now climbing nicely more and more every week as fall sets in.

I saw a huge spike in sales last week, and this week has been pretty quiet. It is like that sometimes.

The good news is, generally speaking, sales should increase steadily until around December 17th or so, then it is dead until after January 1st. But January through late April are still usually MUCH BETTER for sales than the summer months.

And POD is right, the summer WAS very slow. But is wasn't as bad as it could have been considering the state the economy is in. I think all of us are feeling the effects, but I a am not inclined to complain about it. I am still far better off than many people, so I am greatful for what I DO have. And the economic slump won't last forever... We might not get back to the way it was in 2005-2006 for a long time, but that was a bubble waiting to burst.

your sales will naturally vary by what you sell, I sold winter goods on Amazon last year , and sales were out of control right to end of february when the cold weather broke and it turned warm. Sales fell off the next day.

But then I switch seasonal goods


so a lot depends on WHAT you sell, but it is safe to say that generally the lead up to xmas is generally good.

sad to say I was not selling this summer , due to the woes that have brought me here :(

This has been my best selling month this year.

My last 4 months sales totals:
June -- 728 items
July -- 661 items
Aug --- 1,011 items
Sept ---1,101 items as of 1015pm CST

These are items sold NOT dollars made by the way.....
Those are numbers that I will NEVER post.
Lets just say I have had over $10,000+ in sales a month each month this year.

I am almost out of stock and yes I have placed new orders already.

I can't wait till the Christmas sales season arrives.

I think amazon will hold alot of seller accounts this coming christmas. I will put my account on hold end of november till after christmas. I have a gut feeling a lot of sellers will be shut down and booted. My opinion.
