Need tips for Amazon selling practices!

For all you experienced Amazon sellers...

I increased sales on average 38% a month since April. Last month I sold about 150+ items ($10000+ sales). Very happy :)

Naturally, as sales increase so do customer complaints. The items I sell are legitimate electronics. They are used and sometimes have unforeseen issues but I always accept returns and refunds. I even pay off really angry customers to make sure they don't leave back feedback, but recently 1 negative slipped through along with a A-Z claim rate of 2.2%. I am defiantly in jeopardy of being suspended and switching to a low feedback account :(

As you all know, you deal with a lot of idiots who are are quick to get angry instead of contacting you. I feel like I bend over backwards to make customers satisfied but I still fall short.

YOUR TIPS FOR SELLING AND KEEPING EVERYONE HAPPY ARE APPRECIATED! How do you do it?

1. Backup accounts going.
2. Join suscribed section and see how Amazon works. Legitimate or note, few complaints will shut you down. You are dealing in legitimate electronics and seems like you have been alive and quite healthy.
3. You might live on though - only 1 neg.

There are tons of information about Amazon on the site.
Do a little research that is how you learn.

I sent all orders Priority Mail or UPS, never regular snail mail.

Also if they paid more for shipping than was needed, like $1 or more, I send them the difference back in cash.

And I always leave a note thanking them on the packing slip

i send all my parcels with USPS First Class......1-3 days (across the country) and its there, no need for Priority, only when they ordered that

Wow you guys make money on shipping? Ha - nice of you to refund. I get lowballed on shipping rates =(

I would have to say, there is no need for Priority unless what you are shipping is more than 13 oz. First Class still gets it there in the allotted 2-6 business days.

Sometimes you make a little on shipping, but overall Amazon is off on their shipping costs, usually in the buyers favor.

Amazon + shipping from Canada = loss on shipping /nuff said.

It's only happened twice when they ordered a video game or something small. I made like fifty cents. On ebay I usually keep the extra money designating it handling charges

I usually loose money...well .... when I don't plan right. it's just a matter of time till I get booted anyhow due to a scammer so the good fb may help buy time
