International Amazon selling I have a Amazon.com selling account and want to use it to sell U.S. goods. When I create a listing it says 'ships from United Kingdom' and I wrote in the description that it actually ships from U.S.. Are Amazon ok with you adding this to the description? |
Anyone know?. I want to have a Pro Merchant account as it's called at Amazon.co.uk, but I can't find the optino to upgrade on Amazon.com |
| Recherché | 11-06-2010 12:44 PM | Do you mean you sell on amazon.co.uk and list in description that you ship from US? I see sellers from UK on amazon.com stating that they ship from UK quite often. Just be mindful that even though it may be same item it may vary somewhat due to differences of one being made in US or UK. If there is a difference, amazon might peg you with a warning. Happened to me once. Just be for certain you are listing item in your region if applicable. Otherwise, if you have a pro merchant account, you may have to create new upc for your specific product. |

I want to buy stuff on Amazon.com and resell on Amazon.com |

Ships from United Kingdom' in the listing, then I will have to add 'ships from US' in prodcut description'. Which is going to look stupid and Amazon mgiht not allow it.
Did you perhaps sign up for DE on German IP address/details? |
| MERMAID | 11-29-2010 07:19 AM | hi I am uk i want sell in germany ,, what i need to do? IP address? Routers. Mac? Germany address? |
Amazon have opened up it's sites, you can register with all your UK details on Amazon DE |
| MERMAID | 11-30-2010 06:52 AM | UK details on amazon.de ? That IS. Good |
| MrMondo | 12-01-2010 03:31 PM | I tried to sell on Amazon.ca with my Amazon US info, was told that I would have to have a Canadian bank account for funds to be disbursed to. |
You sure about this? Canadian bank account for amazon.ca? Hmm seemed like Amazon was always using US, German, UK, Austrian, and another for bank usage. |
The thing is I want to sell US goods on Amazon.com, I don't want them to put ships from the UK in the listing. Like I said I don't think Amazon would like it either.
Maybe the best thing to do is actually call Amazon |
| ovidiu | 12-11-2010 06:17 PM | Well your location is based on your ISP's registration. That's probably what Amazon reads. |
I found it!!
Go into Store settings and you can pick the country you ship from!.
It also asks you for a postcode, I got a random address from a google search.
Awesome! Hope this info will benefit someone else too :) |
