Wireless Adaptor.....

A little confused. If I reinstall my operating system, install a new router for main computer, do I have to change out the wireless adaptor on the second clean computer, or can this be tracked? Should I remove the wireless adaptor, and use a new mini USB adaptor to access the internet, and log onto Amazon?
