Listing Items From Other Countries
 

I am a new Amazon seller and I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem.

I am trying to list some new items on Amazon.com, I have the correct UPC codes.

But when I try and list the items it says that I cannot as the item has already been listed on amazon.co.uk or amazon.co.fr

Can anyone think of a way around this?

It IS possible to do this - I know because I have seen other sellers post items that Amazon has rejected for the reasons you state. But I have no idea how they do it - wish I did!

well if it is the correct UPC and its already been listed, I would look up the item by the UPC code, (amazon will tell you how to do this). If its not the correct item, then double check the UPC that you have

Foreign items have a longer UPC code (13 digits compared to 12 digits for American items) that are automatically rejected when you try to build an Amazon page for them. If you use the EAN number, Amazon is also likely to reject it if, as Gouranda notes, the item is already available on a foreign Amazon site. I really wish I knew how other sellers are able to circumvent these problems - whoever gets the item listed first has the clear advantage.
