Money transfer on amazon

Does anyone know, how much time amazon takes from its end to complete the disbursement of funds to your bank account since you initiate it.
Please note that , I am not asking about bank processing times.

Forexample, in the case of Paypal, when you initiate a fund withdrawal to your bank account, it takes 1 day and 12 minutes to show the status as completed.Once the status is completed, Paypal cannot reverse or stop the transfer.

So what about amazon ?

Odd question but AZ never shows as completed I believe - I remember receiving an e-mail that says in process with 3-5 days to complete.

I had one case where bank details were off - got the message - then 5 days later was back in the account. Problem is account went DOA so i messed up - bout a month left on it...wheee

I have received an email from Amazon telling me the payment would take 3-5 banking days. Two days later, they blocked my account and the funds never hit. So either they were pending inside of Amazon, or they reversed it with the bank.

With Amazon, don't count on anything until the money is IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!

Even then, it is in the Amazon user agreement that they can withdraw funds from your account under certain circumstances. Accounts being blocked is one of them.

True Jeff as that does happen. I myself never had a problem getting money deposited into my account after the 48th hour of initiating from amazon. I have had perhaps two initiations reverse back to amazon within the 48 hour time frame last year due to review or suspension.

That is really low percentage as I have been initiating several times a week for about 3 years now.

Yeah your not safe with amazon until its in your bank, but really you should always have a surplus of cash so that waiting the 90 days for payment shouldn't be a problem at all. I wait the 90 days on all my accounts and I make so many accounts its like getting a weekly payment nowadays. Cause every week or two one of them is due. :D

Hello guyz, thanks for your responses.

Today my amazon account got into review.
Two days ago, i requested a disbursement to my bank account 300 pounds, after disbursement the available balance in amazon seller account was showing as zero.( ofcourse 300 was the balance before disbursement request).

Today my amazon seller account got into review, but when i go to seller account, the balance is interestingly still zero. Does it mean that the disbursement has been completed , coz if it would have been reversed then, my balance would become 300 again , shouldnt it ?

I experienced the same thing, as in my post above. The account had disbursed about $2k, and had maybe $100 in new sales. I was HOPING that meant I would get the money, but it never hit my bank. A few days later my entire balance was showing up in my Amazon account.

So this could go either way. If you get lucky, and the funds are disbursed, WITHDRAW THEM IMMEDIATELY! I have no experience in the UK, but here in the US they WILL try to grab the money back if at all possible.
