responding to gmail from a suspended computer
 

I know that u can open a gmail from a suspended IP/mac computer from Amazon, but is it ok to respond through the gmail directly to the sender? If you reply through gmail, and it gets funneled through amazon, can u get linked by that computer?

I looked around, but couldn't find an answer.

If you have to refund a buyer, is it better if you can convince that buyer to let you send a money order?

I have a buyer that stated that he didn't receive merchandise, so I offered refund.

I dont want to have that negative refund on my metrics. How does an item not received look to Amazon?

Im trying to baby this new account, and doing whatever I can to keek it healthy.

I never try to convince, I tell them to return item then a refund will be issued. A check then goes in the mail to the address I shipped to. I have never had a problem yet doing it that way.

A refund is a black mark to amazon. It affects your ODR.

There is always the chance a sneaky buyer will try and doubledip the refund but I take that chance because I want a perfect ODR. My accounts last longer that way.

The old "I never got your package" routine, that's a classic. I've shipped over 40,000 first class items since 1997 and maybe I have had 4 or 5 lost items within the US. Italy is another story.
