I am in the US and want to open a FBA account on Amazon. I cant get a bank account because my credit is in the toilet.

How to get one for USA sellers?

I have not heard of having bad credit stopping you from getting a bank account. Can you elaborate?

Getting yourself into Chexsystems will stop you from getting a bank account. I bet he could still go the green dot route.

Most banks won't give you any account if you are in Chexsystems. It happened to me once and it was a nightmare to deal with.

Try credit unions they do NOT use Chexsystems. also various prepaid cards with direct deposit options would fine.

another thing: get your chexsystems report for free and find out who you owe money to. unless you know which bank, or banks it is. Then pay them what you owe them. usually when you pay them they will allow you to open up an acct.

take care of your debts and the bank will most likely let you comeback. as for chexsystems you have to send them letter asking them to prove the validity of the debt just like you do with the credit reporting agencies and if they do not answer within 30 days they have to remove it!
