Question regarding payment disbursion on amazon
 

Hi guys I hope you can help me, im very new to amazon.

Ive just started up using my old amazon account and I've accidently disembursed over £200 to my old current account which is now closed... :doh:

What happens to the money now will it bounce and come back into my amazon account ready for me to withdraw again? If so do any of you have any idea how long this would take?

Elaborate: old current account? you mean bank account is closed? Then yes, it will bounced back - Am az on may or may not block you for 14 days - i don't know bout that.

yes sorry the bank account is closed.

So the money will bounce back right? also can you enter a different account no problem then for disbursement?

I tried to enter another current account but when I input the new account details and save when i go back on it still shows the 4 digits of the old (closed) current account?

can anyone else share insight into my problem? thanks

I would just shoot them a email letting them know that you forget you had changed banks since the last time you withdrew money from your account. Then ask how you change your the bank account details so that everything is current.

its now been about 10 days and the funds have not bounced back from the old account...

Funds can take 14-21 days to return - yes ti can be long sometimes =(
