withdrawal problem on amazon.co.uk
 

Hey , since christmas i have been selling my old book collection on amazon .
I registered a pre paid credit card that i got for christmas in order to start selling because i was declared bankrupt a few years ago and did not have a bank account and bank card .
I have nealry £200 in my amazon account but i am not sure how to withdraw it because as far as i know i need a bank account to withdraw funds to.
I have done a little research myself and read through this forum , i think i read that you can either buy amazon girft certificates or withdraw to certain pre paid cards with your amazon sales ballance , is this correct or did i missread ?

You should be able to get a basic bank account even if bankrupt surely?

No you can't. It has to be withdrawn.

Play.com allow you to use funds to buy stuff, maybe thats where you read that.

Just go to Online Banking, Basic Bank Accounts & Prepaid Mastercard Credit Cards you'll get an account no problem as long as you have £12.50 and your on the electoral register. If your not just need to supply a CC number and a passport/DL number.

Do you need a prepaid credit card? will a new bank account not be do the job?

Ok so just to verifiy , if i am using two computers for two stealth amazon accounts then i do not need to change my mac address . So aslong as i change my ip address between the two computers i am fine ?
The only reason i ask is i was wondering if amazon hasd some sort of physical trace on a router or in my case a dongle .
And yes amazon can trace between user accounts that is why people need to change their mac address to be safe , i myself had two amazon accounts (with bank accounts) closed for making this same mistake in the early days . that was about 16 months ago ..I'm alot wiser now :)
