When To Add Your Bank Details On Amazon?
 

Hi, have just got back on Amazon :clap:
But the Money is only transferred to bank every 14 days, so i was wondering is the 14 days from when the account is open, or when your bank details are entered into Amazon?

So is it best when you open a new Amazon account, best to enter Bank details when 2-3 days before your 14 Days?

It is only 14 days from the day you intially sign up.

After the first 14 days you are able to disburse every 24 hours, unless you signed up for a pro-merchant account.

I normally add my bank account after a few sales.

Sometimes when you create a new account, Amazon will restrict your selling ability until you add a bank account.

Adding a bank account will give you a little more security on Amazons review side of things.

However its up to you, anytime within the 14 days, I normally wait until after a few sales in case for some reason they suspend the account I dont lose the bank account.

I sit on my account for 14 days, don't list or sell a thing. Then after that, as soon as I make a sale or a few and am ready to withdraw, I add my information and withdraw. Then I pray for the next 3-4 days.

ebay account is suspended,so i figured i would give amazon a shot! well there reveiwing my account and i have $1,300 there holding until i provide a list of info. can anyone give a couple pointers as to what this is all about? thanks

so after you wait your 14 days it doesnt matter when you add your bank acct you can withdraw every 24 hrs after that?

@Christopher, if you have been successful at operating after 14 days, yes you can add your bank account and withdraw.

Ok a quick little follow-up - just added bank details (fresh one) to an account that had been operating well for 2 months (Yes I left money in there since I was not pressed to withdraw).

Received notice that bank account was added and funds available to withdrew. I hit disbursement. 15 min later, account was banned with that message "Linked to old account".

Ha bunch of BS since nothing was from old accounts but hey, that's how it goes.

i have a question to ask everyone about bank account. can i add bank acc different name and add into amaz account?

Of course - as long as the bank accepts deposits in different names.

Just to make you guy's aware of something.. I sold over $5,000 my first month at Amazon and from my personal experience, Amazon has been known to hold your funds for (14) days after a bank account has been added.
