Anyone got tips for applying to restricted listings?
 

So I have racked up 14 positive feedbacks on my stealth account, no complaints, no bad metrics. I am thinking of applying for a bunch of restricted listings. Anyone got any tips for what I should tell them?

I just requested to Sell in the Health and Beauty Category. Seems like I've sold in this category already but maybe not.

Their questions were essentially how much are you going to sell, how much money will be made, what is your business name, your business website etc...

I have about 305 transactions with 72 feedbacks, all positive, with 1 Claim, 1 refund, 1 late and no negatives so I'll let you know.

Suspect I will be denied though... :shocked:

Ridiculous that you would be denied with a great record like that. Amazon is out of control.

The software category is a little different. Overall, it's an open category; it's just that many of the juicy listings are restricted.

It surprised me they let me sell in Software so fast but I probably don't sell hot items

You can sell in software from day one. Just not against hot items or just whatever the "category manager" decided that particular week based on his mood.

Got my answer. Apparently, they require 100 or more sales over the last 6 months to be eligible. I'm halfway there. Time to list a bunch of small stuff that sells fast.
