Easy way to rack up a lot of sales on Amazon?

So I need a total of 100 sales in the last 6 months to qualify for listing in the restricted areas I lust after. Anything small and innocuous, that sells fast, that I can list to quickly build up the sales? I could try books, always a good bet, but that can be a little expensive. Any ideas?

Buy things on Amazon then resell them. Cheap popular books would work well.

Books would be your best bet, check on craigslist or go to a half price bookstore. I bought a whole box of books off craigslist for $10. All 2007 and newer. 25 books in all

I would sell those "as seen on TV" products. Not a great profit maker, but you can rack up alot of sales. You can get em pretty cheap at flea markets, and mark them up a few bucks on Amazon.

Mothers Day is in May (2nd Sunday). Look for small items suitable for that occasion. Should bait a few sales :pop2:

Screen protectors for Iphones are cheap and sell well.

rsot 04-01-2011 08:43 AM

@cardo, for Am az on? you can sell those?

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll try that out. Eager to get out of the hole Amazon digs for new sellers.

Actually this is what you need to sell software on Amazon......

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. The sale of restricted software is limited to pre-approved merchants. Because you are not a pre-approved merchant, you will not be able to list any restricted software on Amazon.com.

Keep in mind that only a small number of titles are restricted, and that all non-restricted titles in Software can be listed by all sellers.

The criteria Amazon uses for approving merchants to sell restricted titles in Software are:

More than 100 orders over the last 6 months
More than 90 days since the first sale
Overall 90-day negative feedback of 5% or less
90-day order defect rate of less than 2%

These criteria help maintain buyer confidence for select Software items.

We periodically update the list of pre-approved merchants, adding any new merchants who meet the criteria at that time. When you've met these criteria, please contact the Software category management team for approval by emailing category-approval-request@amazon.com.

See this Help page for the current list of restricted items in Software: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...emID=200212800

Thank you,

Hugh G Rection

Yep, that's what they sent me too. I have qualified in every part but the 100 orders part.

Btw, I doubt that was actually his name, lol.
