I currently only have 34p on my card, so I guess that was why they could not charge it, to I guess make sure it's my card.

This is not new. they have been doing this for along time to verify the card. Just put a dollar on there and you are all set to start selling.

They do this at random, when it comes time to disburse. They just want to know that the credit card is still valid.

THey normally pre-authorize a 1.00 charge to my GC's.
