Amazon account failed seller review process and suspended
 

I opened a new Amazon seller account, followed every step for stealth since is not the first one I open so far.

Listed one item for 99 cents, nothing VERO.

Amazon wrote:

I read other posts but I do not think they were right about why this happened; creating and selling immediately I do not think so since I did that before with no problem. This was a verification issue.

The only new and different thing I tried was the following:

IP location "was" from state "A" limiting with state "B"; I picked an address 40 miles away but from state B and using IP location from state A.

Few hours later, bum! suspended for section 6.

I can say I knew was a "do not try" but I wanted to, so now I am 40% sure.

Anyone else has experienced the same problem before?

This is not the reason. Amazon cannot see your address or location from your IP address. All they see is the corporate address of your ISP. You would need a court order to see any more than this.

Then I think I am f****d !

I have used differing websites after googling lookup my ip address and one site got my IP address down to within just a few miles, onto a road walking distance from me. A few websites were closer, within 10 miles so they can know your location, at least to some extent. I have Cable internet

It is whatever area the ISP has registered for that group of IPs. Sometimes it is very accurate, like for many cable ISPs, and sometimes it is wildly inaccurate (many mobile broadband services like 3G or 4G).

What did you list?

Did you make sure to erase all your cookies from your previous account?
 

Did you make sure to erase all your cookies from your previous account? Amazon will suspend an account if your computer still has cookies from your previous account. Both regular and flash cookies have to be erased. You also cannot use the same house address.

More than just cookies...Am az on is rougher - OP says he followed all the required steps.

What else besides cookies have to be removed? (I realize that credit card, bank account, email and house addresses have to be changed).=}

Am az on ghost guide is solid for that - or you can search the forum. There's a lot of little things - even I am no expert at that - so I have different ways of setting up stealth accounts =) old skool.

U need to Get SMAC 2.0 and change your computers Mac address and vendor. Even if you using Vmware.

They are detecting variables in a group of mac address and hardware id's in your system you need to change these.

are you saying even if you change the router and connect via wifi they still can detect the mac address and other hardware links?

I had the same problem as the OP, I followed all steps. New router mac address, new computer mac address, disabled all other internet adapters other than the one I was using, different phone number, name, home address, used a gift card with initial identification purposes.

I also use VM Ware.

I was suspended "permanently" for not passing the review process.

There has to be a way around this, what else would I have to change?

Doesn't Amazon use browser fingerprinting? If so, your user agent string (OS & browser used), browser plugins, system fonts, desktop resolution & timezone can all be easily detected.

doesn't everyone use the same operating system basically except for multi user version( I use) and browsers so how can that be fingerprinted from the get go?? Just don't do microsoft updates...

Set up New BUYER Amazon Acct-will these steps work??

I am only trying to set up a new BUYER Amazon acct. and just want to make sure before I go back to Amazon to put in new info that the steps I am doing seem like they will work.
Please email me back any corrections that I need to do to set up new Buyers Acct:

1. New Computer:using my Iphone 4S with wifi OFF and 3G on
2. Change your mac address: this is taken care of by using IPHONE 4S with 3G (wifi OFF)

4. New name and email address: using my dad name and address lives miles away, has different last name, never opened an Amazon acct, (BUT i SHIPPED ITEmS i BOUGHT mY DAD ON mY OLD AmAZON ACCT TO HIS ADDRESS WITH HIS NAmE - WILL AmAZON BE ABLE TO LINK THIS?)
5. New Billing Address: Using my dad address (7 miles away)/different last name (BUT i SHIPPED ITEmS i BOUGHT mY DAD ON mY OLD AmAZON ACCT TO HIS ADDRESS WITH HIS NAmE - WILL AmAZON BE ABLE TO LINK THIS?)

7. New Bank acct & Credit Card: Bank acct-using a Wells Fargo bank acct that has both my dads name and my name on it NEVER USED FOR AmAZON BUT has my home address on it?? Credit Card: using a prepaid card WHICH IS EASIEST & BEST NO ONTHLY FEE??

WILL THIS WORK??? ARE ANY OF mY STEPS BAD??
