Has this happened to you?

I have created an Amazon seller account two weeks ago. But never listed anything foHello from Amazon. I am confused that I haven't received any order from this account. But they said it is for velocity review:

We are writing to let you know that we are conducting a review of your selling account. During this review, your funds will be temporarily reserved in your Marketplace Payments account.

We conduct account reviews in support of our commitment to improving the customer experience. These reviews are intended to ensure the timely shipment of orders and compliance with our selling policies.

Please continue to fulfill orders and list only items that you are able to ship by or before the promise date.

For information on how you may be able to expedite this review, search on “Velocity Limits and Account Reviews” in our seller Help.

We will notify you via e-mail when our account review is complete.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Amazon.comr sale. Today I started to list 2 items. But I got this from Amazon.

Can someone do this?

I have listed my items in a high competitive category (Electronic). I have received 5 "Do Not Ship" messages from Amazon, because of the sale price on the item (cell phone) is high, and Amazon put my account into Velocity Limit reviews. I used my another account and listed the same item there, and received "Do Not Ship" again. That makes me wonder if there is someone who used "un-verified" payment information to place orders. My inventory was "locked" and my account was put into review but I didn't sell anything. Possible???

Do not ship just means they are trying to verify the payment info of the buyer. Nothing to do with you.

Now that sounds fishy.
Yes maybe it is a sneaky way to kill the competition without the slightest chance the Seller would think anythings amiss
