Amazon A-Z claim money held
 
wanted to know after an a-z refund is given by seller ,how long it stays in reserve. It should be released in a day( that is how it used to be) It seems that it is reserved for 5 days???

it is 30 days. they will hold the amount of the refund/claim and you can disberse any amounts over that

what a joke even if you refund the same day?? Thats how they get interest on our money also.. A$$holes...

It could be worse. They could suspend your whole account and hold onto the money for 90 days.

Yes, they hold it for claims for sure. I doubt when you refund makes any difference

If it is over a certain percentage of your sales pertaining then they start holding the refund amounts just as they do the claims.
Or they hold all refunds now, can't remember.

I had an incident where they actually allowed the buyer to claim after I'd refunded them which is absolutely insane since they've reserved something which has already been paid out. I tried to contact them to ask why the buyer had been allowed to claim after I'd refunded and surprise surprise no reply just lots of messages saying my query was being transferred to another team.

Did you refund thru the system? I was pretty sure the software didn't allow this

It is a policy violation to refund on the side, just so you know.
