For some reason it says my MAC is changed when it is disabled. This is true for wireless and LAN. When it's enabled it says 'no', it is not changed, even though a little pop up window says that it was successful.

I would use SMAC if I could find a free version. Help?

it means that it wasn't successful. It will say that everytime it disables and enables the adapter. You will have to find another way to change your MAC
