Listing (not revenue) limits for new sellers?
 

I just saw a guy list over 400 items on Amazon and he has no feedback yet. Will he probably get banned for this? I've heard about all the revenue limits they impose on new sellers (velocity limits or whatever) but I don't know about limitations on the # of items you list.

How would you know how many items a seller has listed? I am not aware of a # limit but yes there are unknown sales velocity limits.

He might be - he might not - really depends on what he sells but yes this volume push is like a "turn and burn" account - just go all out and wait 90 days.

all depends on what he is selling. I found a totally ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vero selling person who ⊗⊗⊗⊗ his own business and has 300+ ratings in under 90 days. GO FIGURE. Someone found out exactly what amazon was looking for to zoom their account to awesome invincibility mode with wall walking and infinite ammo turned on.

As in he says he's a major distributor to Internet sites distributors this and that (including saying he distributed to manufacturers which doesn't make any sense) and he doesn't I've a website or anything not even a business address. In fact his business isn't even registered anywhere. But he's got over 450 feedback in just over 30 days stocking 100 vero items at a time. If I knew how to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ my business I'd be loaded by now. Stay tuned as I think I figured out his trick

You can not tell how many items a person has by looking at their store front. You can see how many listings there are, but you can not see the quantity. As for your other concern there is no limit on the amount of items you can list/sell. You could sell 1,000 vero/foo-foo items and you may get away with it, but as a new seller with low feedback it could only take one complaint to shut you down. Foo-foo items on amazon is like playing with fire....you will get burnt eventually and most likely sooner than later.

You can see the quantity of each listing as well by clicking on each listing, it will show you how many they have available, a little time consuming but after clicking on each listing in there storefront along with a calculator you can come up with a pretty close figure.
