Velocity limit, is it on total sales or total profit?

Is the amazon velocity limit of $750 based on total number of revenue or is it based on total profit?

I just wanted this cleared up.

To be safe I stop before I reach $750 in sales, but was wondering if amazon puts you under review if they have to disburse more than $750 rather than make $750 of sales?

My own experience has been that Az can put you under review whenever - sub 750 in sales has happened to me; has also happened after 5k worth of sales in a month.

$2400 in electronics and still no review. Account is little over a month old.

How would Amazon know your profit?

its total sale. including shipping amount. As far as disbersement amount, I am not sure. Although I would suspect that higher disbursement amounts may draw more attention. I disperse every single day if I have money thats worth dispersing, i.e. >$20

total sales + shipping - fees = profit for you in the eyes of the amazon

yes, more specifically whatever the end price the buyer pays. $10 for a dvd with standard shipping its 12.98 towards your velocity limit. If they choose expedited shipping it would be 5.19 so 15.19 towards your velocity limit. The email you get from amazon after each sale tells you. As soon as I open that email I open up my spreadsheet and put in the date and total amount. a couple rows over I put in an equation like =SUM(B1:B50) so it gives me a rolling total of how much money I have made towards my velocity limit. the date of the sale (the one listed inside the email, not the time the email arrives) goes in my first coloumn. easy, but precise way to make sure you stay under your limit.
