How much feedback do you have?

about 316... I envy the big boys in the 10000+ some day :)

Gman91189 07-19-2011 08:38 PM

Forget feedback, i dont care if i have 80 feedback.. all it matters is the money

ovidiu 07-19-2011 08:55 PM

You will never get to the tens of thousands, forget it, those a-holes sell 500 items a day to get there. It took me 6 years to get to a little over 350 feedback. And Amazon remembers every bad think you've ever done unless you're some big corporation which they seem to love. At several hundred in feedback the average seller is teetering right on the edge of suspension.

Ebay - 265 fb @ 98.7 & close to 5 stars

Amazon - 125 fb @ 100% & 5 Stars

Amazon - 1fb 100%
Amazon - 23fb 97%

Ebay - 1500 fb 97% - account made in 05, no longer sell on ebay

JRYAN34 07-20-2011 12:02 AM

23,000+ 99.6%. Almost all that left negs are dumbasses. account made in 09

adam34996 07-20-2011 10:59 PM

Feedback maters in making money. My sales picked up so much more as I approached 300 then it did at 100.

Took me 14 months to get to 300 with a slow start. Now I get 2-4 a day with 74K in revenue last month.

I know im not a big fish but certainly not a small one. Set a very realistic goal of doing 1mil in revenue in 2012.

Becoming a featured merchant along with glowing reviews is why.

^ hey man.... you must drive a really nice car!

yellow0102 07-21-2011 12:18 AM

Ebay- 201, 88.5%, suspended for phake goods

Amazon- 3, 100% 5 stars

other ebay- 2 100% 5 stars

JRYAN34 07-21-2011 02:22 AM

I do not drive a fancy car nor do I drive a p.o.s. I also do not sell phake or junk goods, which is the reason for high feedback. My advice as simply explained as simple as possible would be to.....

1) Never sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗/v.ero items
2) Never sell electronics (unless factory sealed, oem, or completely tested)
3) Never sell items that move constantly or have some type of moving parts (like watches, clocks, other electronics)
4) ALWAYS sell items in the $5-15ish range. (need to buy wholesale for this to happen)
5) Find your niche in the ebay market

damn i could go on for hours....i need to write a book

adam34996 07-21-2011 10:56 AM

:) If you saw the car I drive you would laugh.

I have only been killing it for a little over a year now. I would rather dump every penny back into the business then get a new toy right now.

Next spring is when I will treat myself to a nice ride.

rsot 07-21-2011 11:13 AM

Ever since my best account on Az with triple digit feedback got canned for Recopeid media EVENTHOUGH I WAS SELLING NO MEDIA @#@%% (rant off) I could not care less.

Recherché 07-21-2011 05:13 PM

Amazon accounts:

76 fb 100% positive 2 year account
48 fb 100% positive 1 1/2 year account
34 fb 100% positive 1 year
06 fb 100% positive 4 months
08 fb 100% positive 1 1/2 years
03 fb 100% positive 3 months

Ebay accounts:

64 fb 98.1% positive 1 1/2 years
16 fb 100% positive 1 year

I'm a couple off on each one more or less (prying eyes). In all honestly, all should have been suspended due to high risk items. Also, NONE should be 100% positive as I always have coaxed those on Amazon who leave negative/neutral feedback to remove with a small partial refund.

Basically: Get verified, sell like mad, a few weeks later account gets suspended, "oh, time to move on", repeat.

GTB 07-24-2011 12:40 PM

ahhhh i seeee

don`t think i`d be able to get away with it in the uk

to get verified i need (gold dust) bank accounts

you fantastic canadian people of the world just need to add vcc to be verified, right?

BiN4RY 07-24-2011 12:42 PM

mercurial333 07-25-2011 02:31 AM

36 feedback, since Dec 2010, 97% positive

150 transactions. Moved 40k since 01/2011.

ninjavega 08-07-2011 02:07 AM

it took me 6 months on amazon to get to 321 positive feedback

everything was going great, we were doing 200 to 250 sales per week, bringing in over $10,000 in sales per week (gross)

on average the profit margin was $5 per sale, so about $1000ish profit a week

i was just starting to feel like this would be a great full time job...

bam, we got banned for selling copied media. they wont even tell us what item it was.

i have over 1000 different items in stock. a lot of it is from legit stores, walmart sales, target sales, amazon daily deals sales, local going out of business stores (like borders books, etc).

sadly some of the stuff from walmart looks bootleg and i've actually gotten complaints about it (disney stuff with no slip covers and no security tags... but seriously i have the walmart reciepts to prove it... no joke)
