help with amazon & bank transfer

HI all . I been selling on amazon for few weeks but cos I sold lots off items they now put my account under review .
I don't mind so much but I did a bank transfer yesterday and got email saying transfer going through.

then today account under review.
So will :I still get money into my bank or will they stop it as in my account it shows as gone out so I assume it will go througg ..

everyones account will go under review within the few few weeks to a month. this first deposit should go thru with no issues, but if your account goes under review and it does not pass then any money still in your reserve will be held for 90 days.

I saw the exact same question on this board. I think it takes amazon 2-3 business days to process the wire internally before it goes out so if the account went under review it could go both ways - if the wire is far enough in the process it may go through or it may be blocked. Certainly can happen. Just have to wait and see if there is anything in your bank.

When I sold on Amazon, once I got the email..."Your money's on it's way" Or something like that, I would always get it.

But then again, things may have changed as that was 12+ months ago.

Maybe check the financial area and see if they have reversed the withdrawal, as it would go back into your balance.

No they will reverse the transfer. If it has been 2 days since you got the transfer is being made, then the account review email you have a good chance. But if it was a day after or less, then they will have reversed the transfer. Just check your payments account and your money iwll either reappear there or not

With the review process, you can literally only sit back and hope it passes.

Ty . I emailed them to ask why I'm under review.

they said said it happens some time so fair enough I don't mind. I said I did transfer day before you put me under review.
so could u tell me will that go through and they emailed back saying they confirm the transfer and i.

l have it by 6 days . So I take it I will get it or they would off said I wasn't .

Consider that transfer cancelled if you get a review with 36 hours of a disbursement.

Happened to me 2 times an amazon always cancels the transfer.

Mandy2011 07-25-2011 03:25 AM

ty . will they notify me that it canceled.

all they said is that it going through still. ?

Best is not to count on it, and just wait till the review is over.

My first review took 45 days and I had aprox 600$ in it.

2nd Review took 30 days and I had about 1500$ in it.

All disimbursements failed, after I got the "under review" notification.

All the best. Report back when you pass the review - here's hoping for a success story.

update another email..they sent me amother email saying still under review so i replied with this-- I asked bout the transfer I made before my account got put under review .
So by rights I should get it in my bank as it was done before I got put under review . And I got told it was going through and they replied with this ---

It can take up to six business days for a disbursement to be received and processed by your bank. I have reviewed your account, and can verify that your disbursement in the amount of GBP 280.00 was initiated on 24 July 2011. The disbursement was sent to your bank account with the last three digits .... The funds should be deposited into your bank account by the end of business on 2 August 2011

so looks like i will get it..

It depends on why you are under review.

As long as you broke no rules and had no complaints, they usually will not cancel the disperse.

If this is just a typical velocity review where they just want to be sure you can manage and handle the volume of sales you are doing, that transfer should complete without a problem. Your review will take a while, but that just depends on metrics and feedback.

If on the other hand you are under review due to a customer complaint for selling boot legs or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or copied media, or for not shipping product to customers, than they will reverse the payments made to you and hold it for 90 days just in case they have to refund customers.

So really it can go either way, just depends on the purpose of the review.
