Would Amazon take money from my bank account to refund the buyer?
 

Amazon suspended my account. There was few dollars on my seller account before the suspension. Now a buyer filed A-Z, if granted, Amazon would take the money from my bank account for a refund? I used gift card to open the seller account, and gift card has zero balance. Anyone experienced this before?

I think Amazon will attempt to take it from your gift card you registered from. I had something similar happen awhile back and they could not get any money from my gift card they had on file ,so they kept emailing me telling me to use a different credit card to pay the buyer back.

So they don';t attempt to take it from the bank account?

No Amazon seems to like charging your credit card instead of taking it from your bank account.

But, BUT:

What if you also have a stealth buyer's account in the same info as the seller's account, and you use the "pay with your bank account" option? In that case, you may have given Amazon permission to debit your bank account. Just a thought.
