So I've been up and running with my stealh account for about a year now and just bought an iPhone. I've used the same cell number i have on the iphone on an account suspended by amazon. Is there a chance I can be caught?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
The internet part of the phone is slightly different from voice. I think you're OK, but don't give that number to Amazon, obviously!
For example, I got a new phone on my sprint account, same number, and have used it to read emails from my stealth Amazon account. No problems.
Even when using a phone to access eBay/Amazon its best to keep track of the IPs you have. I thought they were totally different each time, but when I actually looked I was being given the same three IPs over and over.
As for the reading emails thing, I've been reading emails from eBay/Amazon everywhere with any IP and have never been linked in over a year.
You need to change the UUID of the phone for different accounts. However, the UUID checking function will be deleted from iOS 5.0, which eBay will have to implement new tracking methods to work.
So I have used my iphone for some time now and have had every single account shut down. Lately though I receive an email stating that I failed their seller review process so your selling privileges have been removed.
One suspicious thing that has been happened lately is that an order appears and it is not paid for but remains in the pending orders. Also, I receive a message asking me what my return policy is. Has this happened to any of you lately?
Yes I always put it into airplane mode then clear cookies, catch, and history. I then restart my phone.
If you using different user accounts no need to do this. If you clear your cookies, cache etc then eb and pp will see that and will be calling you because the question will come up are you using a new computer? etc.
I tether using 3g and just make sure before I turn it on that the user account is matched up to what I want. Check the IPBurger against previous IPs and away I go.
