Can i just buy a new router?
 

Hey got suspended last week after a great year selling on amazon!

Got Amazon ghost i have 1 question hope someone out there can help

I am conntected to the internet by an all in one modem/router (UK virgin media)

It says in Amazon ghost that i need a new modem/router but my isp won't give me a new one if its not faulty

Do i need to buy a new modem/router? or can i buy a new router to connect to my original all in one modem/router which was being used when my amazon account got suspended?

Will this work and will it change my MAC address?

Will i still need to change my ip address?

Want to get back on amazon soon

Any help will be greatly appreciated

New user account on the computer is a must too.

Buying a new router does NOT change your IP address, directly. Your IP address may change, but this has nothing to do with the router. Call your ISP and ask for a new IP address.

Read the stealth guide to UNDERSTAND how to succeed. Dont just read it to read it, or simply read it to finish it, so you think you know what you are doing. Sorry for being a d!ck, but so many peoples issues would be easily fixed if you read the stealth with intentions to understand it. Your questions are so simplistic that they could be easily found in the stealth or other threads.

I think you don't understand what i'm tryin to say. I want to change my router MAC address. I have a modem/router combined. My question is do i need to buy a new modem/router combined or just a router on its own as i cannot change the MAC address manually

Most routers you can change the mac adress, if yours right now you cannot change it manually, then try buying a netgear router, i was just having the same problem on changing ip until i figure out how to change mac on netgear routers and its super easy , you dont need to buy a new modem

You DO need to change your routers MAC address. Amazon takes these things VERY seriously and will cross check your devices to see if they have been used before. This is not like eb ay. Amazon has much more resources at their disposal then eb ay.

Why would you risk a new account just to have it banned in a matter of days?
You paid for the amazon ghost book and I suggest you listen to aspkin since he has had some of the most experience in the matter.

Amazon can see the 2 closest Mac Addresses to your comp. If you look through the subscribers section I made a post about my setup some months back. Should give you a good idea
