will amazon suspend me?

hi guys
I am very new to amazon. recently sold a textbook on there, and then I emailed the buyer asking if they are interested in buying a related textbook (most people who buy the first textbook also buy the second textbook, they are somehow related)

then I got an empty message back from the buyer. the message contained no content.

I am now worried that once I ship this out, amazon will suspend me because I offered to do a transaction outside of amazon. I am not too worried about getting suspended, I am just worried that they will not pay me for my book, and once it's shipped, I am screwed. Again, I am very new to amazon and I dont know all the rules. Does amazon do this?

No don't worry too much. Ship what you sold - include a note with it if you want to try something with the buyer. Don't repeat your e-mail antics again. Post the other textbook up for sale. That's it.

All the best.

Once you confirm the shipment, the amount of the book that sold will go to your payments account and you can disburse it. (If you over the 14 days period).

Tell me what does AMAZON have to do with EBAY?

Moved to correct forum

You mentioned Amazon by title multiple times so I think....you really mean Amazon.
No it is not against the rules to offer to sell a specific item to your buyer, I've done it on both venues. BUT when I offered it was not meaning transaction would take place outside of the venue though I didn't specify either way. About the blank email, who knows....maybe the customer did it to be funny
