Apealing Amazon Policy Violation?

Today I received an Amazon Policy Violation for Copyright Infringement. When I looked up the ASIN in question I noticed 1) There were tons of sellers on that listing. 2) I did not upload the pictures in question. Someone else did and I just Sell Similar to them...and 3) I hadn't sold that product in 6+ months. So I am assuming everyone who has sold that product got a violation.

I don't think its fair for me to get a violation when I did not upload the pictures in question..Someone else did.

Does anyone know how to fight this?

Thanks!

I wondered the same thing as those seem to stay on your account for as long as you have it. Ive gotten several myself due to idiot buyers.

I had that few years back as I listed a product which was international edition and even many other people have that same one listed are still listed and I got policy violation warning. Its a luck of the draw that you got picked. First few month you have to be careful and sale cheap legit items and than go big. Because after a while ama zon dont care to look for you. I have 4 stealth account for almost 2 years no issues.

Copyright Infringement on Amazon has a zero percent tolerance policy. In most cases you need to be approved to sell high risk items. You need to be approved from the trademark/rights owner AND amazon. And just because a seller created a listed doesnt give you the right to piggy back. If one seller creates a listing and 100 people piggy back you all will get the violation. Same goes for listing in the wrong category, and about 100 other listing violations.

Well again I feel this is not my fault...I have actually done a little digging and have found out what has happened. The item in question at some point had the original pictures changed...It happened WAY after I sold this item...Amazon went back an issued everyone a policy violation.

This is not fair..I have no control over when someone changes a picture. and you DO NOT NEED to be approved to sell handbags. The item in question was a handbag. That is ridiculous that I need to get approved to sell it. I purchased it legally...Have the receipts. But the Rights Owner did not like their pictures being taken which is what some moron seller on Amazon did. Why is that my fault?

Not wasting my time on this thread since clearly you think you are not in any wrong.

I think that I am not in the wrong because I am not in the wrong. Since you didn't even answer my original question which was How do I appeal a policy violation on Amazon?, its best that you not WASTE your time on this thread.

Seems like you are more interested in placing blame than helping...So toodles!
