Amazon starting their cleaning !

My good account was suspended tonight for no reason at all. They claimed that i failed the sellers review process? WTF!! My account was not in review!
Does not make sense.IT is a ploy because they did not want to give me my money.I have money that will be a failed transfer. Yeah failed transfer because some piece of sh!t kid had nothing better to do but fk with people today. 100% feedback no complaints everything perfect. This was my bread and butter holiday selling account.:mad2::mad2:

I know this feeling - not much to do but restart - sucks like that =(

Edit: Actually try an appeal first.

CATHY001 11-02-2011 05:07 AM

My account has been suspended, too

Yestoday, my account order defect rate is up to 1.2% and then my account was suspended today. I need to appeal to amazon, but i dont know how to create a plan of action in professional, who know?:mad2:

I sometimes wonder what you guys sell on Amazon must be software or DVDs. I'm guessing. Last I checked there was too much saturation in DVDs and software. If you can't double ur money IMO it's a waste lol

How old was the account? How many feedback did it have?

someone may have made a complaint directly to Amazon. If it is a valid beef, your gone. Dont even try and appeal. Waste of time. Use the energy to create new accounts. Sorry for your loss. move on.....................

What are you guys selling on Ama zon? I mean I have 4 stealth account going for almost 2 years no issues but I am not selling any software or dvds. Just low end stuff. Are you selling something you shouldn't? Adopt walmart policy sell lowend cheap item but sell many many manyyy.

I think this is BS! Accounts are not lasting more than 4 months even with 100% and no a-z claims. the system is flawed on amazon. I will be venturing out to other sites just to see how the waters are.

jeffweico 11-02-2011 02:40 PM

I agree with RSOT. Try an appeal. What have you got to lose? Play dumb. Write a nice email that sounds a little bid sad, asking "what did I do wrong? I took care of my customers, got great feedback, no claims, etc.".

OK, it may not work, but at least you will have tried. I would still create a few new accounts, but I hate to see you give up so easily.

I will appeal .I will also start new ones anyway. I just got a shipment today that i have to list but i will list my older stuff on the new accounts.

Also having a problem with half.com. I had never sold on there thought I would give it a try.
Yeah right I sold 2 items and I was suspended. Two items total 15.00.
so i grabbed my laptop and started another one. sold 2 items totally different. account was up 2 weeks . total 30.00. got suspended Today. I heard horror story way back so I never ventured on to that site. Now I know why. Good thing i did not loose any inventory. Ill wipe my hands on that site. Im looking at ioffer. Not much traffick but i do purchase on there somewhat and did not have a problem with any of the items or the sellers.... Im not betting on makeing any killing for christmas this year on amazon I know they will start puting accounts in review mark my word This is what they do to most third party sellers for the holidays. I seen it in the past and it happened to me plenty of times..

Rampury 11-02-2011 04:10 PM

Start listing on alibris no restriction there. Sell all the dvds movies cds you want but they dont do software

Made an appeal to support .They reactivated my account. But I know it wont be long before they do it again. I do not know why but I have a feeling it wont be up to long. Also I have to go and reactivate all my items. I thought it was automatic.. We will see how long this lasts. I will not be celebrating to soon..

rsot 11-03-2011 02:05 PM

Good stuff on the appeal - it has worked for few folx who have spoken to me. Has not worked for me but hey, whatever. All the best - proceed forward with caution.

I don't think it HAS TO be that way. When I have successfully appealed these decisions, I mostly keep the accouints. But I am VERY CAREFUL as to what I list and make sure that everything is shipped quickly and all questions answered quickly, etc. I also try to list ONLY higher value items that cost me very little. That way, I don't have alot of $$$ tied up if the money gets held for 90 days.

As for Half.com, YES, they have been tightening up lately. A year ago (even 6 months ago) you could pretty much list whatever you wanted to without fear of being shut down. Now, it is almost worse than eBay and Amazon. I have no idea why this is happening. The older your account is, the safer it seems to be. For newer sellers, it is absolutely BRUTAL! List 500 used books and ONE used Disney dvd and BAM! BOOTED!

Clearly you arent learning your lesson. They do not suspend you for no reason. What you are selling and the way you are selling clearly isnt working (or legal) so maybe stop?
