Is Amazon better to use than ebay?

I'm quite the noob at Amazon. I used to have an account a year or so ago but racked up a fee that I refused to pay cause I didn't like how their system worked. And is there an easy way to get back on with a diff account? I tried it a few times but kept running into brick walls that REALLY hurt.

Amazon is more difficult than eBay. They track MAC addresses and use browser fingerprinting, among other things. Get Amazon Ghost. Seriously.

Is Amazon better? Maybe. For what? Amazon has higher prices and more buyers for some things, while others will do better on eBay. Totally depends on what you are selling.

eBay is like a trash container compared to a brand new Mercedes Benz when it comes to Amazon.

Profits are sky range different.

I use eBay only to sell the left overs and trash I cannot properly dispose from my Amazon accounts.

Amazon is for professional sellers and serious profit makers.

Good luck.

It depends on what you sell that make your profit margins. I do make about 10% more on Amazon but I sell lots more volume on EB then with Amazon. I would rather go with volume selling vs selling single pieces.

I don't sell on Amazon anymore due to fear of them deleting my account and having no access to the listed address.

But hey, "Every mans trash is someone else's treasure".

Please delete my above comment, I did not mean to be so rude.

My apologies to the eBay community.

I was just angry at eBay because of them changing the rules every time in the middle of the game.

$500 limit? ID verify? $500 limit afain? PayPal restricted? all non-sense regulations.

On Amazon you can push thousands in 90 days.

You obviously have not heard about the horror stories about Amazon, like how strict and impossibly difficult they are when it comes to stealth account, about how they are requesting TIN number for all seller soon, their velocity limits, a incredibly unfair A-Z protection systems for sellers, and permanently taking funds from blocked/deleted accounts. FYI A moderator named "Here we go again" on this forum has lost about $50,000 because Amazon has permanently taken the funds he made from his accounts.

What you have said above are purely bias opinions, they are not facts.

Amazon is a much worse control freak than eBay, and most users agrees with it.
