yes, i'm new to this, and don't know SH!T!! my seller account got suspended the other day, and i've been unsuccessful in trying to set up a new one. AGGHH!!!!

also just tried to buy the e-book, but am having trouble w/ trialpay :doh:(WTF!!!!)

anyway, my questions:

1.) i downloaded the TOR browser, which is supposedly anonymous or whatever... would that be at all helpful in setting up a new seller account?

2.) would i be able to use an ipad, connected to a 3g network to set up a new account (ipad is brand new, still in the box, was going to sell it, BUT MIGHT BE OPENING IT NOW!!!)... or is there someway that amazon could trace my name used on my suspended account to the name that is registered w/ my 3g verizon connection?!?

3.) i have one of those portable internet things from ATT... have never used it to go on amazon... would that come in handy, or is there a way for them to track that, if it is on the same ATT bill as a phone # i used for my suspended account?

4.) i use a macbook pro... will that be a problem for any reason? :shocked:
also, will the e-book even WORK on a mac or is it just for PC???

1.) I've asked the same with TOR browser and the answer I got was along the lines that it is overkill, nothing much is needed more than what the guide says. Plus, amazon knows that you are using TOR when you useit.

2.) Well, if you are going to go stealth, it's recommended not to use your same name or at least a slight variation of your name so it doesn't link back to your original account. IMO, you don't need an ipad to do this business, and I wouldn't open it just for amazon. With that being said, yes if you are connecting to a new 3G network that was never used in connection with any of your accounts, you are clear and amazon cannot trace you unless you leave some other traces.

3. Dongle? Yes, that is handy. Read the guide.....

4.) No, macbooks will still work with setting up virtual machines. I think you need to buy the book to understand though...
