amazon on the case right now`

just had 4 accounts suspended in 24 hours,

all were operated on seperate virtual machines, registered with genuine names and genuine debit cards at genuine adresses. all were kept below the velocity limits.

all got the same "failed review process" even though they were not in review. 100% feedback on all of them.

i sell genuine vero items so it is most likely just a xmas clampdown on small sellers selling vero items.

i guess i will leave it until after xmas before starting up again.

crazy stuff :juggle:

yup expect more of this at the year comes to an end.

I have had one account suspended - and am trying to learn as much as possible before trying to get back to selling - so forgive my ignorance... if 4 accounts were suspended within 24 hrs, would it not be logical to assume they were somehow found to be "linked"?

As for the velocity limits, how do you know you stayed under "the limits"? I have searched for these to understand them, but I can only see that what is known is based upon speculation.

1st q - are you able to log-in to the accounts that were blocked?

vlb 12-22-2011 05:34 PM

yeah i can login to all my accounts,

i dont think they were linked as i have followed a pretty strict regime when loggin in, however now that i think back all amazon had to do was look at the product page for a particular item and the top 4 accounts were mine.

the 1 account i do have left wouldnt show there as i had set all stock levels to 0 as i was close to velocity limit.

thats the only link or sense i can make of it.

the velocity limits i hit were £750 per month but to be honst my latest account had only £80 sales and they canned that one too.

I don't see how it makes sense. why would AZ close accts if all they were is just top sellers on a particular item (don't get me wrong... i'm not saying that AZ is all rational lol).
On the same note... does AZ sell the item itself under the same listing? and were the prices of those 4 top accts lower than AZ price.

vlb 12-23-2011 04:27 AM

i dont mean top sellers as in i sold the most of that item, i mean when you go to a particular prduct page based on price the top 4 accounts were mine.

which in hinesight was probably stupid due to them all selling the same thing and the inventory being the same.

its all a learning game though so im not to gutted lol.

funny thing is that the day after they were all closed i received my disembursment into my bank accounts, pretty good timing as had it not been initiated a few days earlier they would have slapped a 90 day hold on them all
