| ovidiu | 12-28-2011 03:39 AM | I think they are more paranoid over the holidays. New accounts are regularly booted for little to no reason this time of the year. Amazon won't take chances with their precious customers over the holidays. Wait until after the new year to create accounts. |
| KingDog | 12-28-2011 08:12 AM | Hello from Amazon.com.

| MichaelW | 12-28-2011 09:13 AM | Are you using VCC or Credit card? |
| slapped | 12-28-2011 09:34 AM | Well, here is the way I see it for whatever its worth,,In my Opinion any account that gets deleted within such a short period of time from its creation, was done so by a "bot",,
I think that it is Highly unlikely that a "Human" actually reviewed the account and deleted it
Therefore what that suggests to me is that the account failed to pass some critically important aspect of an automated check, and the Only 2 things that I feel that it can be is Either the account was Directly linked to another suspended account or the VCC failed on you,,
What I would do is to get a Totally different VCC and CAREFULLY create another account. |
| cardfelon | 12-28-2011 09:50 AM | I have seen this happen before. This is just a theory of mine but I think that some accounts they actually do have humans review them and attempt to verify the information. The reason I think this is on a few occasions I have had Amazon actually call my phone right after I signed up for a seller account. They told me the call was to "welcome" me to Amazon. If they attempted to call the phone and were unable to reach you then maybe they closed the account? |
| JohnsonCarter | 12-28-2011 11:46 AM | Amazon is all bots, they have a very advanced system set up that approves those processes. I had an account zapped in a relatively short amount of time once. I used all new information, but I did set it up from the same house so I was probably IP booted. There is a step you missed a long the way. Some things to keep an eye on are same bank account, same address, same exact inventory (if you account just got suspended and you tried to open up a new account and put up nearly identical merchandise that will be a big red flag), is it possible you thought you changed your IP address and perhaps did not? That is usually the most common linking tool with amazon. |
| KingDog | 12-28-2011 02:54 PM | I haven't ****ed up a stealth account since 08..
They would have said your account is linked blah blah and bye bye, if I was linked. I think this block actually explains why I haven't seen any new sellers on Amazon in Dec and prices are up all across the boards.
I'm using a gift card and dial-up the usual. |
| MichaelW | 12-28-2011 03:30 PM | I just created 4-5 account recently and they are good. No suspend or black.
All account sale high risk items |
| gumchinut | 12-28-2011 04:34 PM | Me as well. I have lost all accounts immediately this month. I have never had a problem setting them up. I even followed amazon ghost. Did anybody set one up and not get the failed review notice this month? I think it may be the vanilla MasterCard I'm using. I got everything ready to go on another one but am scared to get suspended immediately again. Anybody have any thoughts on what it could be? |

| kev59 | 01-01-2012 01:58 AM | Hello Amazonians
ok I just set one up and here goes.....Yes I set an account up Nov 27, listed a Kitchen Appliance (BIG MISTAKE) and a book the First Day. Ok needed to get some sales going, so Dec 1st listed my all time favorite "Video games" around 10. Eight sold by Dec. 4 and got a notice that "ACCOUNT was UNDER REVIEW" but I could still list. Well I figured heck might as well go for the gusto because I'm under review but can still list so this is a plus. I'm feeling safe so I list more things and start selling pretty regularly. Then a sold the "Big Mistake" the kitchen appliance. Did not want to sell that I only listed it so I could add variety to my listing. Thankfully I had one that I bought Black Friday for myself. Whooo!! That was close. So ok I'm getting nervous but still feel safe as my funds were past the 1000+ mark and I slowed down sales. Well now its Dec 20 and keeping my fingers crossed and funds are now well over 1300. So Dec 23rd- 4 days before the 30 Day Review was up, I get the notice that "YOU PASSED" and your funds are no longer being Held, Blah Blah. Well now everything as changed, Go to my funds page and "NO DISBURSEMENT BUTTON" at all. So liars even after you pass review they still hold funds. I am on this what they now call an "Individual Plan" which means they manually disburse every 7 days for you but only things that sold the preceding 14 days. So my next disbursement day was Dec 30 and out of my $1300+ they only gave me $300. This is a bunch of crap. So my conclusion is even after the 30 day review they still hold the money well over 30 days and from the looks of it I'll get the 1300 in another months time. Which means 30 day review is now 60+ day review. So I have to now figure out how to sell to maintain a nice flow of cash every 7 days. But boy if someone gives you a negative or az claim while we wait for Amazon to disburse for us now then we are screwed. |
| slapped | 01-01-2012 09:34 AM | Amazon has been doing this for Quite some time now, What do you expect?,,,you want to sell Video Games, VERY High Risk,,,,you refer to a Kitchen appliance as being a BIG MISTAKE,,I can assure you that Video Games are a Bigger mistake,,
Be Happy that you still have your Account,,,Be careful and go Slow,,and when Amaazon does release their hold on your account all will be Normal,,until then,,Just Play the game |
| kev59 | 01-01-2012 10:31 AM | There is no more "Normal" Account. This is the new and only way Amazon is doing accounts. The new "Individual Selling Plan" is now the normal. Its in their rules now. The Disbursement for new Accounts is no more, Amazon now disburses every (7) days now manually. And for Video Games. They are not considered "High Risk" as you say because they are not HIGHLY Replicated like DVDs or Beats by Dr. Dre etc. If they were I would have never made it through the Review. If I sold $1000+ dvd's or beats or P90x's they would have gave me the boot. Its my all time favorite because been selling these for over nine years so I know how and what to sell really well in this category. Experience is key. My older accounts I still can disburse but the new one as this one the "Disbursement" days are gone forever! As I said have to figure out a way to trick the disbursement button and 14 days sales preceding thingy. |
| kev59 | 01-01-2012 10:38 AM | The reason I said Kitchen Appliance (BIG MISTAKE) was because it was a very expensive sale. Which is not a good idea to sell coming out of the gate. Amazon rather you sell (10) $5 video games then a $387 dollar Kitchen Appliance your first week. I bet you this will PROMPT a review before the video games will?? |
| slapped | 01-01-2012 11:28 AM | Do NOT kid yourself ALL Media, DVDs, Blu-Rays, Video Games, Software,,is High Risk.,,,Just because you do Not find Video Games as abundantly as DVDs on those Chinese "Wholesale" sites does NOT at all Mean that Amazon and Ebay treat them as Less Risky than DVD, not at all
I too have been on Ebay/Amazon for MORE that 10 yrs now and I can Tell you that as Far as the $387.00 Kitchen appliance, I Sell them ALL the Time on Brand Spankin New Accounts,,I have some listed on a New account Right Now,,,all that does is get you account into Review Faster.
At one time I could GUARANTEE you that an Amazon account would go into its first review at about the $750.00 in a Month Point,,Now it is Higher, I believe it is more like $2500.00 in a Month before you go into your first review, Point being it is NOT what you are selling that determines if you go into review or not but simply how much Money you take in within a 30 Day Time peroiod,,,What you are selling will contribute to Amazons determination as to If and How you come OUT of the review. |
| kev59 | 01-01-2012 02:15 PM | No its not $750 anymore that pushes an account in review its immediately now! I sold a book and a couple of $5 Games and bomb I was in Review. This did not even total $50 and my new account was in review ($44 to be exact). So I believe none of this matters anymore , that is, dollar amount its just Amazon covering themselves and being very cautious with new accounts by putting them all under the microscope right away until they do their background checks on all accounts. They have to be otherwise how do you account for so many stealth accounts going down even before they list or sell anything? |

This part is BS. They don't even say why. It's not due to linking accounts. They're just blocking accounts for almost no reason. It's BS. |
