Amazon disbursement is now 2 weeks for everyone?

Okay. I had some unfullfilled orders because of the holiday rush. This was in december 2011. The manual disbursement button never appeared in this account but i have seen it in my old banned ones but Amazon disburse the settlement every week. So it is now January of 2012 (the year the world ends) and it appears that my account is being reviewed. However, the account is not banned and the weekly disbursement is now bi-weekly. Now I would have to wait every 2nd tuesday for them to send money.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Recherché 01-07-2012 03:43 PM

No problems. Disbursing my funds every day or so still. But my accounts arte at least a year and a half old.

The everyday disbursing is no more available to new account.

Gamefreak 01-07-2012 07:23 PM

Still disbursing once in 24 hours without any problems

For new sellers, there is an initial 14-day holding period before funds will be disbursed to your bank account. This holding period is an important security requirement and is applied to all new seller accounts.

After the initial 14-day holding period has passed, the funds credited to your Marketplace Payments account are automatically disbursed into your bank account. Future disbursements will be made automatically every 14 days, or you can request disbursements manually once every 24 hours through the Payments section of your Seller Account.

Your disbursements are based on a 14-day cycle starting from the time you were approved to sell using Marketplace Payments by Amazon. For new sellers, there is an initial 21-day holding period before funds will be released from your Payments account.

Once you have received your first automatic disbursement from Amazon, you may be eligible to disburse funds up to once every 24 hours. If you request a manual disbursement, we will reset your next automatic settlement date to 14 days after your requested disbursement. If you do nothing, any available funds will automatically be disbursed to your checking account every 14 days.

Have to open another account and see how it work. Thanks

bender271 01-10-2012 12:26 PM

does the first disbursement on the 21st day include all the money from items sold from day 1-21 or is that with a 14 day delay?

daphnie7 04-10-2012 07:51 AM

amazon is the worst! there has to be a protest to change this stupid "2weeks waiting for money." once an item has been received, money should be received. amazon even has the gull to hold it an additional amount of time, should they have any notion to. this is crazy!

rsot 04-10-2012 10:36 AM

Welcome to the forums daphnie7 - what actions will you take?

alwaystrying 04-10-2012 11:59 AM

On new accounts it is 21 day hold and then they will only pay you for the first 7 days not 14 like it is stated in the agreement. The other 7 days is held in a reserve so that there is always money held. You do not actually get your full funds. Slimy!!

justarslan 04-17-2012 07:48 PM

Every week.

degsey69 04-19-2012 09:48 PM

Do not forget it depends on what type of account you are appying for, a professional seller account pays out twice a month, and will pay you the money taken right up to the time of disbursement which takes about 3 days to get into your account.

alwaystrying 04-20-2012 01:18 AM

so if you sign up for a professional account( is this the pro merch) you will be paid your full funds? nothing will be in reserve by the end of the month??

degsey69 04-21-2012 07:45 AM

Correct what ever is in there is disbursed back to you, I have had money transferred back into my bank account leaving a zero balance and then I did a refund creating a negative balance and then the sales reversed that.

With the pro merchant account you get paid whats in there at the time of disbursement.

I can still send money to my bank every 24 hours in the UK.

I know this is an old thread, but can accounts without the disbursement button request a manual disbursement through cs?
