What is it with the sellers on Amazon? People are constantly fighting to get to the top of the selling list by cutting a penny religiously...

In the catergory I am selling in, you have to be at the top of the list to get the sales, so I understand it. But now they have got me doing the penny cutting too. The price is constantly going down. :smash:

Amazon need to change this system of having top lists so that the prices do not need to keep being slashed. A grid system or something would be better.

I hear you. The bigger sellers use automated software that undercuts the lowest price by a penny. I usually don't play the game that way. I will undercut by $5 or $10 and make it more painful for the competition to play their BS games.

This happens a lot. If your item is NEW and your featured the penny thing isnt all bad as amazon rotates if its between 1-3 dollars. But for used man these are are freaking crazy with the penny thing. That like you said also drives the price WAY down for said item.

Like ovidiu undercut them by a huge margin until they get fed up and they sell out. either one will happen. Theres only so low ppl are willing to go...
