IP question
 

I have read both stealth books and have a question about IP.

The book says they can only see the MAC address from the first connecting device. But how about the IP address?

I have my laptop connected to a SMC router. So for the MAC address on the laptop network card I use SMAC to stealth the address on each virtual WXP connection. I have a different router for each account I set up. So I have MAC addresses covered.

Does IP work the same way? Can they only see the IP address of the router (first connecting device) and the laptop network card or can they also see the public IP address?

In short do I need to be concerned about the public IP if I am connecting the laptop to a router instead of the modem?

Visit whatismyip.com and whatever that ip address shows up as, that is what Amazon will see. If you haven't made an effort to change the ip, you MUST do this, or you will be instantly banned. I have personally experienced the instant ban

Yeh IPs are tricky. I try to avoid overlap but sometimes a suspended account has the same IP as one still going strong. And this is proven. I think an IP match might trigger a flag but I also think unless you are a brand new seller account they might let the IP slide a bit until you trigger a 2nd flag.

Hi, am i correct that if i open two ebay accounts, both on different user accounts on my computer, i have to change my ip address everytime i switch between accounts?
