Does anyone try to use Ally bank as the deposit bank of amazon stealth account?
I just opened a Ally bank account and going to use it for my second stealth account, I need to make sure that Ally will accept Amazon's deposit in different name just like BOA, or Chase does.

Ally bank works just fine and it works for me among others, the only thing is it take's one extra day than the other banks to get the withdraw

Not tryed it but, If you ever wanna use a bank account that wont accept deposits in other names all you have to do is put your initals into the account holders name box in amazon, they dont care whats in there I've even had 'Amazon' as the account holder before to hide the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name from the bank i had at the time that wouldnt accept deposits in different names

Ally works great - have multiple Ally accounts that have all taken in many different deposits from Amazon.

it says not to use ally bank ? I have 3 stealth accounts using them but they are just aging. What is the good word?

Ally is not good... they will check 1) if other names , 2) if for business

This is true, they called me and wanted to know why I had transfers under different names. Told them it was for business and they said I couldn't do it. So they closed all of my accounts. The name variation should be fine.

Weird, I have 4 different accounts with Ally and they all receive withdrawls in different names. I have two of them that have been open for a year and two that are just 2 months old. Never had any problems.

Did they send you a check for the balance? or did they freeze the funds??

Stay away from ALLY it doesnt work.. they froze over 1k still have yet to get it back!!

Nope, didn't send any check. All they told me was to send in documents (SSN, ID, & Utility Bill) and then they would call back to tell me the decision. Until all the information is verified, they cannot release the funds.

Do you think a name variation like this would work ok?

I called Ally and most of the reps seem clueless about everything. Do they outsource from america to america? o_O

Most of these ignorant drones say that the disbursement will bounce if the name is off by one letter, but a few of the higher ups say its a toss up.... hmmm.

deposits from different name to ally bank will be posted. I have a bunch of them for both pp and amzon. But I am worried now as other people say that as time goes by,ally may catch you.If you tell them that it is sales money from ebay,they will 100% close your ally bank accounts.I already had the same exerience with HSBC!!

Yes,HSBC sent me checks after they close my saving accounts,I believe ally will do the same .

Ally bank worked for me. The name change of real name: Donald Duck
stealth name: Danald Doeck didn't cause an issue. I did call them and told them that an amazon rep spelled my name wrong when I signed up, but I doubt that changed anything. It seems that its up to some system to reject the disbursement coming in under a mismatched name.

I forgot to say that this disbursement was in my bank account in one day! :noidea::heh:
