Pro Merchant account and Stealth
 

I want to upgrade a stealth account to the merchant account on Amazon so I save the $1 listing fees on each item (or whatever the amount is). Anyone ever do this? I don't want to risk losing the account.

I've done it. But I messed up and got greedy and spiked my revenue to 2,000$ in a few days. So I got suspended obviously, however it will keep some of the heat down but ofcourse use caution and go nice and slowly. Don't get greedy. If you feel like you want more revenue. Get a second account in stealth. Spread it out evenly, one or two items a day here and there. Then constitently, keep messaging your customers to leave positive feedback. It will help alot.

What all info do I provided when upgrading? I was just concerned about the CC part since I used a VCC to get it going. Do they just take the $40 a month or whatever out of disbursements?

Yes, they will take it out of your disbursements.
I opened a stealth Pro-Merchant right off the bat and my balance showed $-39.99 for many days until I sold some items to cover the gap. They didn't charge my card.

Thanks for the info, guys. I have just opened a stealth account which I want to make into a Pro Merchant. Do I have to add my bank information before they let me open a Pro Merchant? Be nice if I can keep the account, but it is disposable. It is mainly so I can create my own listings.
