He is prob banking on some of the buyers just buying doing impulse buys / all-stop kind of shopping.

this is what I though

He use this account (pro merchant) to list new products and don't want to sale with this account. Then can use many ghost accounts to sale those products with the right price.

There are these type of guys in the software category where I sell. Need an older version in brand new trim? Then that will be $1995, sir (even if it originally cost $400 when it came out). Sellers baemon and Directvantage come to mind on US Amazon.
