| wizardhat | 02-07-2012 08:00 PM | What do you hate about selling on Amazon? Amazon is really a great place to sell, I love it more than eBay. It doesn't take years to post an item. I hate when buyers are to stupid to read an items description and pending orders.
What do you hate? |
| Thankful | 02-07-2012 08:18 PM | Well i wish there was a way to hide the items your selling so no competition could see what your selling, although i know this is impossible, since Amazon wouldn't know the difference between the sellers and buyers viewings your store front.
Yeah I also hate when you end up getting some bad feedback due to the buyer not reading the item description.
Also find they charge more in general than eBay when it comes to final fees, however though, i noticed items generally also sell for a higher amount on Amazon, so i guess it's 50/50 pros and cons.
Apart from that, I love there platform and how easy it is to list items, very user friendly unlike their staff :fight: |
| seanws30 | 02-07-2012 09:03 PM | i dont sell on amazon |
| ovidiu | 02-08-2012 06:08 AM | Because of my many years of selling on AZ, I hate just about everything about it, except the great prices I can get. But I'd say the worst is the 15% fees for selling in the software category. Give me a break! |
| Gamefreak | 02-08-2012 06:13 AM | I hate most are the STUPID BUYERS!
They open claim for no reason and fail to contact you then insist they tried to contact you but of course amazon has no proof of that but doesnt want buyer is right..
The claim button is just too close to the other ones which makes it easy for buyers |
| jbluntz | 02-08-2012 06:27 AM | I hate that you can't sell high ticket items like you can on ebay and you can't use paypal, what a hassle lol |
Random deletions and no access/response = potential nightmare. |
| ovidiu | 02-08-2012 07:24 AM | I hate that you can't sell high ticket items like you can on ebay
If you're referring to stuff like laptops and such, I hear you. They'd need a Secret Service background check and a letter from the President before letting you list that stuff! |

| jbluntz | 02-08-2012 02:26 PM | Yeah might seem like that to some, but no most high ticket items are restricted to preapproved sellers and you need a bank for each amazan, that's not the case with paypal. |
| beaches | 02-08-2012 03:31 PM | Not getting paid on time and there so called failed review Garbage. |
| adrianr03 | 02-08-2012 05:16 PM | things i hate on amazon il make this short
1 they delete your accounts
2 they steal your money
3 they ban you for no reason
with copy and paste message saying you fail a review and their was no review
4 they have awfull telephone seller support dumb ****s
sell vero dont sell vero once you have alot of sales and big balance on your account bang they go for the kill |
| AmazonStealth | 02-08-2012 06:28 PM | For me amazon doesnt create any issues, its the idiotic/dumb buyers. Although rare, you get buyers that complain about the dumbest things. |
| mercurial333 | 02-08-2012 06:41 PM | Searching for products is a nightmare on Amazon. Also many products don't have the fancy description/pictures/features that some products on Amazon have.
Just the other day I was searching for something to buy, and one of my PC's wouldn't find it. I used the exact same keywords. I had to search by ASIN to have it show up in the results.
All that = fewer sales. |

| mkr2204 | 02-14-2012 10:07 AM | This new 14 day reserve is ridiculous, with it being 6-10 days for a cash out too it can end up being a month before you get paid, far too long |
| beaches | 02-14-2012 01:23 PM | Not getting Paid |
| cherrqell | 02-14-2012 02:46 PM | Would be nice to be able to leave buyer feedback. |

| ovidiu | 02-18-2012 05:11 AM | Would be nice to be able to leave buyer feedback.
You can, actually. But it makes no difference. No one reads buyer feedback. |
| eBay King | 02-18-2012 06:28 AM | I never knew that. Will check it out someday. |

Was wondering why he hadn't gotten the product though the address was a Miami address. |

Report to Amazon, see if they'll do anything. Worth a try. |

Those are relays for shipping oversees. That's how they bypass buyer not wanting to ship international. |
| slapped | 02-26-2012 10:58 PM | i do not see the fees as High,,Remember that fee also includes Payment Processing,,,Ebay is a Bit cheaper,,,but do not forget Paypal
The real Downside on Amazon is that you can NEVER see the AX Comming,,,wake up one morning,,,Poof,,,Account Deleted,,,With Ebay you see it comming,,,Most of the time,, |
| MERMAID | 02-27-2012 11:35 AM | account deletion ! |
| WasTopRatedThenBanned | 02-29-2012 08:12 PM | Wow, Am i the only one lol.
I hate the PRICE WAR!!!!!!!!! OMG!
I buy a product not offered on Amazon, create the details page, 2 days later another seller pops up, selling the same item as me, then goes on with an insane price war.
I message the seller, explaining that this price war is not necessary, perhaps we can arrange certain days of the week etc lol. He comes back and says that he does not need the income he makes on Amazon, and that he enjoys the competition!
This guy was only selling one product, and well i was hardcore in Amazon at the time.
I was very nice in communication with him, very reasonable etc.
"it turns out he is no longer selling"
Price War ! |
| subzero3001 | 02-29-2012 09:05 PM | The only thing I hate from Amazon is its feedback system. Stupid buyers never leave feedback and only do when posting negative.
Suspensions, accounts blocked, money held for 90 days, selling limits I CAN HANDLE ALL; but not feedback system. Is 100% against the seller, specially when selling VERO. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:31 PM. | |
