re-appealing the suspended status

I am a businessman. I've operated my business since 1990. Started in my basement and went to 10,000 sq. ft. industrial warehouse. In Dec of 2011 we applied for and were granted approval to sell on Amazon.

Admittedly we were not prepared for the experience of Amazon Selling. We really didn't know much. Therefore our ODR suffered when my first feedback was negitive. Amazon sent a warning which I didn't understand. They suspended the account, held the money for 90 some odd days and eventually paid me. In the warning period I received 10 positive feedbacks. So. 1 neg, 10 pos. I was suspended for <1% ODR according to them.

In the original application I used real information except the name of the company, I made one up, that satisfied the question: Name to be displayed, or something like that. I sold $ 1400.00 retail in two weeks, but Amazon didn't say a word about velocity rates.

I have re-applied to activate the suspended account. That was on the 12th of Feb....Their automated response said that they will respond the following day. I haven't heard a word.
What are the chances that they will re-activate the account?

B4 ya'll give the usual stock replies the OP has purchased AMAZON STEALTH... :pop2:

What are the chances that they will re-activate the account?

Probably zero. You needed to appeal immediately after suspension. Understand that yes,

Admittedly we were not prepared for the experience of Amazon Selling

is how many people feel, and they get blindsided by the often blazing success on Amazon and Amazon's strict, merciless application of their policies to new and old sellers alike.

My advice? Even in the extremely unlikely chance that you get back on (it's possible, I suppose), you will likely be suspended for violating some BS Amazon policy, sooner or later. Create a stealth account, and at least or two backups with completely different info. It will be worth the trouble.

appeal with a business plan. tell them what you will do differently in making sure customers are satisfied. I think there is a good chance of you getting that account back.

You see to have waiting way too long for them to even bother contacting you now. Also you need to sell 110 items before you ODR goes back to less than 1%. If you did you would have been automatically re-instated by the automated process.

If you would have worked with the buyer to try and get that negative removed you would have your account right now.

Like the other guys said you would blinded by the success of amazon.

Chances of getting back on your best bet would be to email jeff@amazon.com

So, now we have set up the "sandbox" on eBay. I wonder if Amazon has such a thing like the sandbox? Anyone know? Such as a testing area so you don't make the mistakes made by the shock of selling? Like we did.

No chances to appeal and win. Just let it go.

Make a new account with new name and everything. Even if you sell the same chances are you will be OK because too much time passed.

It will be your second stealth account, many of us here have created hundreds and eventually kept more than a couple.

Welcome to the others.

Good luck.,

Declined the request.

you simply waiting too long dude. You would have had a way better chance of getting reinstated if you would have done something earlier
